Dr. Brenton Greska is an Assistant Research Scientist at the Florida State University, where he also serves as the manager of SESEC. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida State University in 2005. His doctoral research was in the area of high-speed jet noise and its suppression and his work resulted in a patent application, which is currently under review. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. he worked as an aerospace engineer at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where his work focused on cryogenics. Based on his work in the extreme areas of cryogenics and high temperature supersonic jets, Dr. Greska has been the primary developer of the experimental facilities at SESEC and he also oversees most of the research that is conducted in these facilities.
His research interests include high-speed jet noise suppression, advanced PEM fuel cells, extremely high efficiency water electrolysis for hydrogen production, concentrating solar thermal cogeneration systems and advanced catalysis.
